Introduction to Cells
Cells are in everyone of us, even plants. Cells also help us live. If a person gets a disease, doctor will find out a cure through what happened in their cells. If the cell gets infected, the person would get infected. The way we get energy is through our cells. when we eat food the nutrients are converted into energy and then gets sent out of the cell so we can use it. Cells are living things and each organelle in a cell does it's own important role. For example, converting nutrients into energy is done by an organelle called the mitochondria. Another example is that an organelle can the ribosomes make protein for the cell so it can survive. So basically the cell is the basic structural unit of organism and it's the building block of life.
